stripped valve cover bolt

alright i have 2 stripped valve cover bolts(the bolt holes) and i am going to put in some helicoils but i dont know the thread size or pitch any body done this?

take a bolt to autozone and match it up at the store.....I had to do the same thing with my predator

according to the parts diagram it should be a #6 metric bolt....I dont know if that helps or not
