headlight cover

What are you guys using to cover the headlights? I used a spray painted metal 'screen' to fill the hole (after taking the light out), but I've seen where some of you have the light still in place, but w/ some type of cover (?). Just curious. Looking for a second option if the metal screen doesnt hold up.

Mairer sells a z400 hood that will bolt right on it looks sweet. cost around $40.00 It is different then what alot of people use so its cool to me. I have a pic of it on a blaster but no pics on drr.

The Gen-X hoods are very clean, neat and easy to install!

And many tracks make you remove or tape up your lights and if you remove it, that big hole in the front just doesn't work in the "bling world"!!!!!

DRR and Apex use the same hood. (there is a nice pic of both on the genxatv web site!!;) ;) :D :D )

Our headlight broke, so we used rustoleum paint and some metal from Lowe's. So far it works OK.

Yes the GEN X hood for the APEX and the DRX are the same. The "NEW" 09 hood will be released in the next couple of weeks. They will also be available in any color or carbon. Don't forget to visit the website and gather your resumes and send one to us. We have alot of new stuff planned for 09!
