Whos Got TRICKED OUT 250X/300EX's??

I was just wondering whos got some tricked out 300's or 250's on here. I am a huge fan of self modifying things, like my exhaust, front end setup and my kick *** footpegs!! Anyone else got some trick setups they wanna share. Including engine/exhaust setups, chassis setups, and the Looks?? Let's see some pics of these tricked out X's and EX's!!!! Heres one to start it off!

theres some really nice ones on the site! i dont have any pictures of my old 300... it wasnt all that much to look at but it had some goodengine mods..... Tom Miller Motorsports CDI box, FMF full system, Bored .020 over, dynojet, drilled airbox lid... that thing hauled... especially after i got it bored... but the suspension wasnt what i needed..... so insted of gettin a-arms and shocks.... i worked my ***** of and got a 400...

Here's a pic of my 250x with a FULL national Curtis Sparks 410cc motor. Had all the titanium goods, custom CS exhaust, ect...

Only thing stock on the whole quad was the gusseted and powdercoated frame and front bumper. Everything else was aftermarket that could be.

That was one FAAAAAAAAST quad. Would wheelie in any gear with the blip of a throttle.

I dont have the 410x any more because I got into dirtbikes. My current bike has the same HP of the 410x, is about 200 lbs lighter, and has about 4 more inches of suspension travel :D

And it was the Beckley Honda in WV. I bought it from a guy who bought it from another guy in West Virginia.

That was a tight bike though... had over $2500 in the motor alone. Now that I look back I wish I would have kept it, but oh well.

hey quadrider i was gonna buy your bike at one time but you were like 19 hours away so my and it ran on race gas so my dad said no. but i may be getting a 250x based quad(only thing 250x or 300ex is the fame and plastic) with a 350x race motor he is fine with race gas now though.

There are some trick 300's and 250's on here! Anyone else got some sweet mods? And how competitive are all of your machines for those of you that race? I do alright with mine considering im racing 400EX's, banshee's and raptors in my class. Usually im the only guy on a 250x/300ex based quad on the track!! My rigged up exhaust. I got the head pipe and silencer from a friend for free... the head pipe was rusted up so i sandblasted it and paint it with muffler black. The silencer is for a 350X its a 4 inch race silencer from Supertrapp..... Just had the local exhaust guy bend the pipe a little and weld them together, some how they matched up perfectly!!!

Regulator 250X: how does that thing run with 14/35 gears? I have 400ex radials on the back and i ran 14/36 and it felt like the motor couldent push to the top of the gear it felt more like an overdrive.i just put a webcam in it so i am going to break that in and try again with those gears. thanks

It run's hard. Im always looking for another gear, 300EX's/250x's are known to be very low geared in the first place. One thing that brings down my top speed and lowers my gearing is my 18 inch turf tamers. Thats where i lose top end so that the engine still pulls hard through all gears. I usually fly through the gears when taking the holeshot, usually reach 5th if its long enough. I should have gotten 14/34 instead. Although im looking into getting a 15 tooth, little risky, but it might be worth it.

do you have any engine mods besides a pipe and what kinda racing do you do? you are running a pretty low gearing for just a pipe if thats all you have. I am running 13 38 right now unbeivable how much it pulls. I also have 20 inch tires to but i do mx and most that i race are short tracks so speed isn't really a big factor, are you racing in wide open tracks?

Acutally honda250xrider, i am running higher gearing than stock, which is what you are running. I dont have any other engine mods besides my pipe, i have a K&N filter, but thats it. I can get good holeshots with my X when compared to what im racing. I race MX also and one track i race on is pretty big, not really wide open, just big, and the other one is quite short and narrow. I am still grabbing for anyother gear when topped out in 5th.

Rider11x, what do you mean by got hit? If you are refering to the angle at which the silencer sits, thats just the way it ended up when welded together with the head pipe, they are not meant to be used together, but i made it work... thanks

That brings up an interesting idea. I think that the CRF250 is going to be one fo the best small bore fourstroke Honda has ever come out with. I watched the videos on Honda's website with Ernesto riding it around the track, it sounded pretty sweet and you can tell its a smaller bore just by the sound, its not as throaty as the 450. I can't wait for that bike to be bike of the year!!!

I would love to have that motor in my frame, it would be unbelievably fast for a 250 fourstroke...

It has a TC 295 kit, oversized valves, port and polished head, TC national cam, Lectron carb and reverse is removed. It has a TC/Supertrapp pipe. Ac grab-bar, nerfs and front bumper. Works dual rate shocks all around. 400ex a-arms and steel braided brake lines all around. Rear beadlocks with turf tamer and offset front .190s with rikens. Lsr chrome anti-vibe stem. Tag T-2 bars. RTC clutch lever. Pep steering stabilizer. LSR +4 axle, Bearing carrier and antifade. KN filter. A few other small trick pieces.

I hardly ever take this out of the garage anymore. I have a 400ex, we're in the process of building up. We also have a 300ex and a cannondale cannibal. The garage is pretty crowded right now.

It has stock 400ex a-arms. The plastics are cut so the pipe doesn't burn a hole in them. I'll have to check later on the offset of the rims.

It's only a 330. The 465 was in my 400EX that I just sold. Anyone that needs aftermarket 300EX stuff - We have it. Lone Star Racing everything, TC Racing 330 kit, TC Racing 405cc motor, Fullbore Plastic (White & Red). Everything is used. PM me for any serious interests.
