hey i got my new top end gasket kit and wonder what are these peices for?

anyone know? the package says

Top End Gasket Set
Fits: Honda TRX400EX 2001-2008,
Ex Fourtrax 1999-00

do you guys think these pieces are for a fourtrax?

the two bronze one are the crush gaskets that go where the exhaust header mounts

thanks now all i need to know what is the black o-ring, the 4 green orings and the 4 brown things are for

X2, the green ones will fit where your oil lines go, the brown ones are valve seals.

the black one in your photo looks like the one for the air intake manifold

just one more queston how hard is it to change the valve seals?

its not easy unless you have a valve spring tool. If not, you can take your head to a automotive machine shop and they will do it for pretty cheap.

to get the valve apart i just used a socket and hammer that got it off.

the green o-rings are for the valve guides. you dont need to change them. I have changed valve seals on the bike. It was a pita.....I would have been better off taking the head off but I didnt have another head gasket

How do you plan on getting them back on?

i never really thought about that my friend just replaced his valves and he said he can do mine for me he never used any specail tool to do it
