I have an 04 660 with a big bore, cam, and some other stuff. The motor used to run a little hot so I switched oil and started using Amsoil 4-stroke blend. Problem solved! My new problem is that I continue to burn up clutches - 3 in the last 2 years. I recently read an article in the tech section of a magazine and they claimed that on "some big power applications some oils are actually too slick". Has anyone had this problem? It has a full GYTR clutch in it. I have a 440ex that I run amsoil in and the clutch has been in for years now. Any good suggestions?

I had a similar issue with my last 660R. I also used (and still do) AMSOIL but put in the GYTR heavy duty clutch set up. After the heavy duty clutch (fibers and springs) I no longer had issues. We ride only in the dunes so I know we were putting a hard strain on it.
