What gas/fuel mixture should I be using for a 87 LT250r. I am currently using 32.1

Also, How much case oil do you use? My manusl says 1qt as I used last oil change.

I am running a little rich

32:1 is a good fuel:oil ratio, that's what I run in my '90 QR. For case oil, do you mean transmission oil? I think my cases say they take 900cc of oil, which is a little less than a quart, but putting in a quart shouldn't make any difference, just some may come out of the overflow.

If you're a little rich, clean your airfilter, repack your silencer, may help.

Is it ok to run 24:1? I think that's what the manual recommends??

Yeah, sure, but you can imagine that oil has come a long way since your manuel was written. The manual for my '85 Kawasaki Tecate 3wheeler calls for 20:1.

Many of the new synthetic oils will run easily at 50:1, but be sure to not buy the oil designed for injected systems. Buy oil only for "premix only" it will have a higher viscosity and help it stay where it should in our high-reving engines.

Gotcha... So Should I be running a 32:1 w/ synthetic for my LT250?

All I ever used was good quality 2 stroke at 32:1 in all my 250R and 500R machines with no problems.
