As did I.

We don't get the snow like we used to .... or the cold weather like before. Now it seems like the trails don't open up until mid January ( if lucky) and are only open for a handfull of weeks. Not worth the $210 for a trail permit , few hundred for insurance , etc.

I got a feeling its gonna be a cold winter, here in NY. I already seen a little snow fall... But didn't quite stick to the ground. But im ready for the next blizzard! I can ride for miles and miles on a snowmobile, around here.... Funny though, I can't take the quad much further off my yard, though :o

It does suck you can't ride snowmobiles as much as you'd like to.. But if you take care of them... They will last a very long time!

Yeah isn't that a bunch of bs, thats why you can have just as much fun, or more fun on a sled in 3 months than you can on a quad in 9 months.

We traveled up to Chautauqua Lake Trail system last year and plan on it again this year. The best trails I've ever ridden.

The only problem is NY is expensive for 1 or 2 days of ridding.
Pa is 20 Bucks for 3 years.

We hardly had any up here in Northern Ontario. And when we did , the lakes were crap because it wasn't cold enough ... too much slush. The trails in our area were open for about a month .... the swamps didn't freeze enough for the groomer to get by.

If I was to buy a sled right now though , I'd be looking for a 600. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on an 07 MXZX 440 with a 600 sdi thrown in it. Perfect ditch banger with the reverse option.
