My rod bearing went out in my motor. Im getting the updated crank but It only comes with one of the main bearings, correct? Should I order the other one as well? If so, does anyone have the part number that I need? Im assuming I will need the oil seal as too.

i would, its like ten bucks or so, and you know its okay, and the seal should be replaced because it makes it easier to push the bearing out, and it seals better.

heres the part number for the bearing...91001-HP1-671
and heres the number for the seal...91201-HP1-671

thanks! Any helpful hints on knocking the bearing out? I might have access to a press, but if I cant get a hold of it Im looking for some different ways.

well, once you knock that seal out, you can put a socket on there, and beat it with a big ball peen, and it will pop out. or you can probably use a punch, but the big socket will work best. you can put it in the same way with a socket, just make sure that the socket is only on the outer race. you can also use your old bearings if they arent mangled up that bad. but again, i think the socket works best.

what about the cam chain? Will a factory chain be alright?

i have always had good luck with the oem cam chain, i dont really know anyone that makes aftermarket cam chains. i know they are made, but i am unware who makes them.

do you know the right part number to the cam chain? Service honda is showing 2 different part numbers. Im guessing one chain is longer then the other.
