Sounds like your floats stuck

thanks, ill deff check the float. when this all happened, i was talkin to my buddies they said it could have something to do with the electrical? idk, like the coil or something?

thats possible as well, Easy way to check your floats is pull the drain on the carb see how much fuel if any comes out. electrical may be just a fuse. good luck

screws that hold the needle backed out,or fuel screw backed out

i've seen jets come loose and fall into the float bowl. but it would probably kill the engine

i would check all your wire connections and harnesses too, one of them might have come loose ...

Most likely you have a jet clogged in your carb. alot of times you can get a little dirt in their and it can jump around and get stuck in one of the jets. It has happen to me a couple times and i just pull the nut on the bottom of the carb and run some fuel through it.

Dude! Rocky Hill is sooooo much fun. Its a great local track to ride at. Me and my friends always have a great time there. You got a quad track and bike track, and sometimes they combined the tracks and quads and bikes together. Honestly, I love it haha ! Deff check that track out!!!

Hey Jon, have you had any luck fixing your bike...again? How did you like riding my Yamaha compared to your 450r?

Brian? hey man, yea i actually did fix my bike. The main jet was clogged with dirt lol. also, my float was dirty, i think i had like a leak or sumthin, but i fixed it.

your yami, was completely different, i didnt really like it...but i was cool. i didnt like the handling, too short haha.

yeah, it's Brian. I'm glad you got your bike running again. I'm getting some front shocks off of a 2008 yfz so i hope those will soften it up a little if not then it's revalve time. How did you like your revalved shocks with the shock springs? yes i know honda and yamaha shock are different, but anyways. Are you going to mototown on the 23rd.

dude thats sick. new shocks=:) haha. but yea dude, when i got mine revalved it was amazing...so much more confidence, i would do that, unless the new ones are set up good for you. mototown, i plan on going as of 2weeks ago, but the only mishap is that i may have volleyball. yah yah, iknow... i play volleyball haha, but its a state team, so idk yet, depending on what happends.

do you have a myspace or aim?

motohanks
11-14-2008, 10:20 PM
yeah, I have a aim, it's the same as here, motohanks. The 2008 shock have high and low speed compression adjustment and supposedly have softer springs. I am going to try them before getting them revalved. I won't flame you on the volleyball, i have a few friends that play. Some of them are also on Connecticut teams.
