get rid of 400?

hey guys im having a hard time debating weather or not to get rid of my 400Ex. its an 05. i have a k and n filter. velocity stack. itp tires all around. stage 2 jet kit and a pro circuit titanium pipe. its not enough power for me to keep up with my friends with raptors and 450Rs . im debating to get rid of it . i want a 450R or the new KTm atv. i sorta dont want to part with my 400 cuz it was my first baby. and its really reliable... what should i do?? hellp

If you can get lucky and get 3 grand for it, you can find some pretty sweet 450s on craigslist for $2500-$3500.

I had a 400ex similar to yours, 05, powerbomb header, lrd silencer, 11:1 piston, and it just didn't have the power to keep up, especially on the mx track. I was lucky and got $3200 out of it (it helps to work at the Honda shop) and have had no regrets since I got my YFZ.

Sell it and get what you want or swap in a different engine. I was in the same situation and i decided on the engine swap. I dont regret it for a second, its better than a new quad now.
