What's the price of a gallon of milk in Fort McMurray these days? $12 a gallon? LOL

Last time I looked through a Real Estate book , I could net about $25 000 for my dog's doghouse up in your area. $500 000 for a 2 bedroom shack .... CRAZY !!!!!!

Who needs french books ... just learn the word "Poutine" and the phrase " Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir? " and you'll be set.

I don't know WTF most of the posts were about but just curious why you are moving to Quebec? Also, what part?

On the down side, it should be real fun trying to understand those quebecors with a southern accent and vice versa.
The french don't like the english Canadians, much less Americans.

On the upside if you like ATVing and trail riding, there are thousands of miles of trails in Quebec and they aren't like tree-hugging hippies that don't let you ride. It's a free for all - so I've heard. They also have Montreal supercross and lots of MX tracks.
I heard from a Kawi dealer that they developed a Quad specifically for Quebec because the average rider puts on over 4000 miles on their quad a year.

Not too shabby with the french.

Poutine = french fries with gravy and white cheese curds.

And your phrase " Une Biere s'il-vous plais " means " A beer please"

You're all set.
