Overheating YFZ

Hey guys I have a 06 yfz 450 and it overheated at the Ironman and I replaced the oil and put engine Ice coolant in it, filled it up ran it , let it puke out the air pocket and filled it up again. I let it idle for 45min Saturday and it was fine then went to a race and 4 miles in the light comes on!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions Thanks

Did you flush the radiator and motor of all the old coolant before filling with engine ice? Are you running lean? Make sure the oil screen in the bottom of the oil tank is clean as well, if that gets plugged up, the engine might be getting a shortage of oil, which will produce more heat.
