I'm wanting to find out why my 300ex has this square brake light and not the normal oval one. Anyone else have this type of tail light and know why they are fitted? I'm near certain this is a genuine honda part,

It looks like your bike has the factory brake light that was added to the '98 model year (I believe it was a option on the New Hamshire bikes for that year). In the Mirco film it the only year that has a parts listing for it. There is two wiring harnesses for that a year as well.
