kfx400 wheel swap

im a noob to atv'in i have a 06 kfx400 im looking to find a bigger rim mabey from other atv that would bolt on to my kfx all help would be great

might not be a good idea putting bigger rims on a racing atv.


I dunno.. at least thats what the atv professionals tell me when i told em id like bigger nice rims... something to do with weight on the rear shaft when jumping or weight of yourself.

anything with a 4/144 bolt pattern will fit the front and 4/110 will fit the rear. When you go to bigger rims, you will notice they will get dinged up all the time unless you get bigger tires too. Also, if you do alot of jumping with larger rims and same size tires there is less tire to compress upon landing and you are more likely to egg a rim or break an axle. That is why mx racers always use 8" rear rims.
