cams??..??

i was takin apart and cleanin and re-placing and when it came to putting the cams back on everything went fine but when the cam covers where tightend down the "ex" cam spins with the slack of the chain(havent tightened) and the "in" cam has no movement at all?..normal or wat?..when i lossen it off to the point i think the cover is to loose it will spinn not when tight tho?

Make sure the cam holder is all the way down and sitting flat when you tighten it. Sometimes they will wedge a little. I had to hone my head where the intake cam goes after a while. started to gald from not enough clearance for oil. I was told some Zs need to have this done when running high performance motors, just need a little more room for oil. I run high rpms all the time on the mx track though
