I finally was able to ride my hybrid and I am very pleased on how it all turned out. I only have 1 question. I am using an LTZ400 PWR radiator without a cooling fan. I'd like to know at what temperature should my '05 YZ450f engine should be running before it's to hot. I'd like to see if it is cooling enough so that I dont need the cooling fan. I'll post some pics as soon as I take some. Thanks.

i dont know any temps but i know you will need the fan or at least go with an aftermarket radiator... acually id do both lol, with my ktm hybrid i needed every bit of cooling i could get... id make it 3 or 4 laps and it would be over heating bad. i would think just adding a fan would be fine tho

As long as your not letting the quad sit and idle forever or running very tight low speed areas, your fine. Ive never had or needed a fan on any of my hybrids. If your running into over heating issues with a good aftermarket radiator and a properly working cooling system, you have a problem somewhere else. Jetting is off, air leak, head gasket, etc..... You will be fine without fan.

Thank you

Between 205 and 215 is a safe normal running operating temp. Anything over 220 and you risk damage to the motor.
