450r hood

i just picked up a brand new 08 450r, awsome machine compared to the old 400ex i had anywho. are all the front hoods the same? i saw a quadtech carbon fiber hood on ebay for a good price but it looks like it bolts on and mine just snaps in ???

All 06' and up hoods are the same.

I can't speak for other hoods, but quadtech requires drilling holes to mount. I'm not aware of any that snap in oem style. In fact I think quadtech even reccomends cutting off the tabs used to snap in the oem hood.

you should check out the fourwerx hood the quality looks second to non and alot stronger than the quad tech carbon fiber
