I just got today 2004

it has exhaust and few other things but anyone know of what i can do to this to make it "look better" im planning on getting graphics and nerf bars and hand guards and maybe the billet grill thing. any suggestions?

You could maybe get some shock covers and a good looking bumper! It doesn't take much to fix them up they speak for themselves when people eat your dust! HAHA

Just go to yahoo and type in yamaha banshee graphic kits and it will show all kinds of sites that have them. There is a ton of them out there

dont get me wrong banshees are in a class by themselves, my roomate has an 04' i ride sometimes just for that 6th gear!

i wasnt saying banshee's CANT look good, but most dont buy them because of their looks

but yes this banshee is sweet

i went to my cousins yamaha dealer he has a banshee graphics kit that is decent for now. i like the skin one but this one is cheaper for me atm. i washed it up and detailed it a little bit, it will take some work the guy didnt clean it as often as i would.
heres some more pics of it before i cleaned it but ill post more after i buy the graphics kit and nerfs and hand guards

That has an aftermarket 250r geometry frame.. with aftermarket everything else.

i just bought from rockymtn a DG GNCC Type II Front Bumper, and Dura-blue swing arm guard. i think that bumper looks sweet. ill throw a pic up when it arrivies

My dad has this bumper.

I like it also because you almost never see them on banshee's.

I just want to see if im still the youngest with a banshee here. Got it while I was 14, and ride my dads a lot before that too. 15 now.

16, 17 in a few monthes. the nerfs i got for it are missing spacers in the package.. so i am pretty mad i wasted a whole night trying to figure out how to get them to work.

Ebay, This one store on there, i forget the name atm both the nerf bars and the hand guards are wrong both came from same place, I got the hand guards to work but i am not going to try and "make" the nerf bars fit. I am either gonna get my money and get them from Dennis Kirk or wait another 2 weeks and have that guy send me new ones.

awesome. I had a set for mine.. but I just dont like nerfs for some reason. They look good.. but screw up the feel of the quad. lol. idk.

I have a 2001 bansh with toomey t5s on her and she sounds really good. Very loud. I ride in the imperial sand dunes with vw sandrails that have very loud pipes and they can always hear me as I come up behind them.

Question? I heard everyones kick starter rattles when they ride, is that true because I know myn does. Another thing, If I buy the kick starter from modquad will that stop it, it says it does I just wanna know If anyone tryed it.

Yes, they all rattle. It's known as the "death rattle"

Typical banshee. Even if you replace the o-rings, they still rattle after one ride.

My cousin has an aftermarket kick, and i dont remember it rattling all too much.

I learned to ignore it, my brother has a yfz 450 and he hears it and whines about it, my dad has an outlaw 525 we just bought a lot of **** for it. But I wann buy laker frnt fenders but i'm not paying 240 dollars for that. I am gonna order the cheap maier racing front, with the fenders cut off.

Yeah. I like the maiers because you can but bolt on fenders that attach to the front plastics incase you ever wanted full plastics again.
