How many watts of lighting can the stock stator handle? Is the stock headlight about 35W or so? Does anybody know where I can get a higher output stator or even one that puts out DC to the lights instead of AC? I know these type of conversions exist for full size quads. We ride in the dunes and the stock lighting is not going to cut it. Any info you guys may have would be appreciated.

Haha, that was my first thought too. The reply I got was, "We don't make anything for that machine."

Polini has an ignition system that may work for your needs...

A little pricey, but here is the only example that I was aware of..

You can carry 30 watts on stock system, to do more than this you will have to up grade. In 2006 we ran the 12hrs of America on a blaster and ran into the same problem. We went with trail tech light kit that comes with a battery pack. You could charge off your stock setup and have ricky stator rewind it for more ac output. We had to install their rectafier the blasters was not up to the task. It worked great and we used it 2 years before we sold it.
