Well here's the deal-I have a 465 stroker with everything exhaust 450r carb. and I was running a stock airbox with a 48pilot and a 175main with the needle in the middle. It took me FOREVER to get it dialed in with the jetting, I decided to take the lid off one day and WOW what a difference.
So I went out and bought a oversized racing aluminum airbox with KN cover and threw it on. All it did was pop and backfire on decel. So I decided to bump up the pilot and that made the idle extremely fast and goofy so I moved the needle down one slot and the clip up. That straightened out the idle but all it does is backfire now. I tried a 200 main and a 50pilot and every position with the air screw..
I AM SO SICK OF TRYING TO JET THIS THING!!! I GEUSS I AM TAKING IT TO THE HONDA STEALERSHIP AND LETTING THEM DEAL WITH IT, UNLESS SOMEONE HAS ANY REAL GOOD SUGGESTIONS....
