300 gearing

if i go 15-38 with 20 inch tires, wut would i lose and gain. and if this is a gay set up, any suggestions?

Im running a 14t front sprocket and 38t rear sprocket w/ 20 inch tires. Stock is 13/38. When you go down 2 inches on the tire, go up one tooth up front. I like my set up it feels like it did w/ the 22 inch tires, I didnt want to lose any top end speed and low end feels good also.

i didn't even know they made a 15 t for the 300ex. yeah but if you go to bif in the front or to small in the back, and you don't have enough motor mods, you will never reach the speed cause it will take to long to get there. but since you are going with 20 inch tires it should pretty much be like a 14/38 setup with 22 inch tires.

I had to grind my casesaver a lil bit w/ the 14t front sprocket, did u take urs off w/ the 15?
