ok so lets say you have a 2004 450r frame. and you want to put an 06 motor in it. what engine mounts would you have to have 04 or 06 mounts

YOU WOULD HAVE TO USE THE 06 MOUNTS, AND STILL DO A COUPLE MODS.

That would be a downgrade.

It will bolt on, some people like the change for XC racing. They say it smooths out the power making the bike easier to ride.
