Hey Bignasty, If you make it to a National you will see an Apex with a KX65 engine in it. It will be riden by the 2008 ATVA 70CVT Champion Christian Horne. Lots of work to make that engine work in these chasis.

I got a call from Apex the other day asking if I want to be put on the list for one, they are going to be about $6,000.

why do apex appear so keen to diversify from their bread and butter bikes.........just a thought

Its called development, progress , the bread and butter will still be their, but it will mean that their is also a bike to compete against the KTM 85s and the cobras etc..

from what they told me it is the current MXR LT with some frame reinforcements and a different rear swing arm.

Christian bike is actually a very light chromoly frame with apex plastic it was custom made by K-Fab. It is powered by a kx 65 motor

We are doing fine,thanks.
Vince did race IXCR and GNCC this season and had a lot of fun.

I never saw or heard any more about it.

Last I heard is they are building one that will hava a honda crf 85 engine in an apex frame. Different swing arm and other modifications. Said they wouldn't be ready until the spring of 09. Well at least that's what they told me!!:) :D :rolleyes: :)
