what are some of the best braking systems out there? were building a custom go-kart style car and for the past few years weve been using 400ex master cylinders and calipers. are there any readily available systems from a quad or street bike? or would we be better off mixing and matching to overpower the calipers?

450r have better calipers and then use steel braided brake lines. how much does it weight and how fast does the thing go?

right now the car weighs about 550 lbs and goes about 30-35. weve been using steel braided lines with the 400ex components with moderate success, were just looking for something with a little more stopping power

Look into brembo, they have high quality stuff.
