Corrosion on cooling fins?

Hi everyone. I have had my 400ex for a little over a year now. I always wash it down after every ride and keep it as clean as possible.

I have been noticing a slow process of what looks to be corrosion on the cooling fins for the engine. I assume this is normal but what is the best way to clean this up so it looks good again? Is there some off the shelf product I should spray on and scrub it with?

take a scotch brite pad to it...... the corrosion is likely from other stuff stuck to the top of the aluminum corroding itself, not the aluminum. rub it down it shoulc be fine.
