I am getting ready to get some new 6 ply tires and want to know if anyone is running 23X7X10 Fronts with 22X11X9 Rears. I mostly ride out in the California desert and wouldn't mind some extra ground clearance. I could also use the more top end the taller rear tires would give me. My only concern is will it be more tipsy with the taller tires. It feels rock solid stable now and I don't want to lose that.

Is this a good setup for rocky conditions or should I just stay with 22 front and 20 rear?

Thanks for the input.
Chris

Yes a 23/22 combo will be more tipsy/unstable and you will get more tire shoulder roll in the corners. Its a trade of. Its just a question of if the extra ground clearance is worth the handling loss.
