coolin fan for 400ex

does anyone now where a person could find a 4 inch fan to keep the oil kooler have a oversized tank but it dont help thanks

4" spal puller fan is what everyone uses i have one it works great and its easy to install

I took a 12" box fan and mounted it under my front plastics behind my bumper lol. I'm just kidding but I did do it once when I had to have it idle or rev for something for a bit. I could feel all of this hot air just blowing off the motor and out the back f the quad just sitting there with the fan on. If only it would fit better and be slimmer I would actually mount something huge to the frame rails or something

Im gonna mount one on mine in addition to a bigger oil cooler.I plan on beefing the 400 up a tad so any way to help in cooling cant hurt.Heat is your worst enemy;)

anyone use two of these fans?:confused: how many degrees does one drop the temps

i was board and put 3 of the small pc fans on. 2 on the front on each side of the steering stem and one on the back middle of the oil cooler. it looked cool but the small fans barely moved any air, being so close to the cooler. the bigger 92x38MM fan works great it is strong enough to pull the air through the cooler plus it has just enough overhang on the top and bottom to feed the fan and not let it stall for air. it runs alot cooler with no spark knock at all. im even going to put my high comp head gasket back on.

Here are some pics of my install, i just used zip ties it worked perfect to hold and they dont block any air. Its hooked up to a toggle, then the 2 wires run to my battery.
