Hello ...All Well to start out i love this site it Rock's .. I am a proud owner of a 1997 Shee..wich i love but ..This thing seem to be good at only one thing ..Going super Fast in a strait line..its a very hard Ride threw the Trails .Wich is where i do most of my riding...i only have about 2grand in it...On the the other hand i allway wanted & 250R, I have a guy that has a 1987 R that he will trade me 4 the R is in 10 out of 10 condition super super shape ..look like stock show room bike,
My shee is in a 7 out 10 shape... Moral of th Qustion is will the R be better in the trails, will it be less money to maintain ..one piston not two...and will it hold its value and demand ..less, same, or More than my shee....any vet Advice thanx..!

yeess..I would say get the 250r for sure..a lot easier to work on, your gonna have way more options on the type of riding you want to do. I think it will hold a lot better value. do it

you better jump on that r especially if its stock..that will make it worth much more...10x better in the trails and possibly one of the best ever hands down..

If you're that into trails, then it would probably be the best because at least you're still getting a 2-stroke with a better trail chassis.

But as far as value.. 250r prices have been dropping like crazy around here. So they're probably worth the same.

With all the new 450's everyone and there mother is buying one so the 2-strokes are going down in value.

You can always look for a 400ex/250r roller and do a banshee hybrid:devil:

Because who wouldn't want banshee power with modern/better handling?!? The 250r has more low end but for sheer power and top end, the banshee is just sick.
