SELLIN MY DADS 04 450 THING IS A ROCKET SHIP HE RIDES THE +50 CLASS AND HE IS ONLY LOOKIN TO SELL BECAUSE IT IS TO MUCH WE ARE GOING TO GET HIMA 250F. WE ARE THE ORIG. OWNER AND HE IS A MECHANIC SO THE THING IS IN AWSOME CONDITION AND RUNS SO GOOD.

Full system white brother's carbon pro, renthal chain and sprockets, and pirelli's. That's about it. The only thing is where are you in NY? These pics are minus the chain and sprockets. I'll try to grab some when I'm home from school. Bike was bought from a good friend who purchased it new in late september of 2005 and moved to Louisian in early 2006. Bike has sat in his uncles garage since then. I picked it up in may of 2008. Haven't had any problems with it. Oil was changed every two rides, valves where checked approx 5 hours ago, tires are about 50% ish.

I'd say that sounds rather fair. Seems like anything pre 06 yamaha (2 or 4 stroke) is hard to sell. Then again our economy is pretty junky right now.

used 07 and 08 yzf's are going for a shade over $3200 at the local. If you've been in this "game" for a while, shouldn't you know to post up some pics? No one in their right mind would travel, let alone buy something without seeing it first.

Well this thread took a bad turn. If 2000 firm takes it i dunno why you didnt try working with the guy who offered 1800, not that big of a difference. Good luck with the sale, learn a little tact and you'll have more luck in the "for sale" business.
