Rad bearing carrier O-rings/EX 400

I am replacing my stock bearing carrier(because it's scrap metal) with a Rad H-10 the stock has 3 o-rings and the H-io does not have the same set up though it has 2 shallow grooves ,is this where the 0-rings go ?

Nevermind,I talked to Rad and they said I don't need to use the two larger o-rings at all....Wish I had asked before I ordered them.

they are mearly there to help keep water and crud outta there but i have found that if exposed to severe wet condition they are useless.
