Suzuki Race ATV. Everything on this quad is aftermarket. Hand built by Doug Gust for a Pro Open quad. Custom hand made Walsh Race craft Chassis (frame, a-arms, swing arm, steer stem, radiator catch can. Based on 250R geometry. Elka suspension, Dirtbike rear linkage. CRF carb. Custom intake. 250R style plastic, comes on and off in seconds. Yoshimura built 450 motor and one of a kind titanium exhaust for Doug Gust to race. This is the best race ATV on the planet. This was never raced. Doug builtit in 03 and then everything went production so he never got a chance to race it. It was practiced on a little, maybe 10 hours.

is that the drz 400 motor built to a 450 like the first suzuki he raced? or is it a rm-z 450? im not sure when suzuki even made the 450 dirt bike. so its prolly a dumb question.

It is the DRZ 400 motor. Yoshimura made it a 450.

Do the DRZ's not use an external oil tank?
If they do, how did they get it to not use one?

If this were setup as a woods machine and about 5K cheaper, I'd be all over it.
