I can get a full HMF system for $400 shipped or a HRC header with hmf slip on probably cheaper than that. Dasa or Sparks are somewhere around $500 shipped. The only thing I ever plan or doing is HC2, green wire mod and a k&n filter kit or maybe a fuel customs intake but more than likely just the modquad k&n kit. For such mild mods is it really worth spending the extra $100 or should I put that extra money towards new big bars and get the hmf? I just can't see the dasa or sparks really making that much of a difference with such mild mods.

IMO, with such mild mods, I would get the HMF slip on with the HRC header. Take the extra $ and get some nerfs, or bars, but I would just wait on the bars till you mess up the stock ones. Also, I'm a big fan of the UNIs, and they're cheaper. Although I do use K&Ns powerlid, which I give 2 thumbs up.

Well I bent my stock bars the day after I bought it off the showroom floor and have been riding with bent bars all summer long lol. I also prefer uni filters but I live 10 minutes from the dunes so all I ever do is sand riding and I've heard the k&n with outwear is best for sand.

Agreed, even tho I like UNI, if I rode dunes I'd go with the K&N. I've also heard they filter sand better.

That would explain why I stand behind K&N so much 97% of my riding is in sand yet I have still been told i'm ruining my motor. I love it when people try to tell me i'm wrong when I either had personal experience or a reliable source to back it up. K&N with outerwears was like a dream come true for me. My foam filter would need to be cleaned after every ride witht he airboxclosed and all. I have a K&N with an outerwears running open airbox lid and I could go way longer without cleaning the filter it stays clean so much longer because the dust hits the outerwear and the sand bounces off

The Dasa is worth every penny. ;)
IMO you'll feel the difference of a certain exhaust over another in a mild build more so than a bigger build.

I dont know who they are but i love my DASA. My second choice was Rossier and i dont think it will make much if any less power at all. I just like the sound of the DASA.
