What's the cheapest & first engine mod I should do to a 07 525 outlaw? With this said, as my $$$ get better what engine mods should come next?

Firs off, get the JD Jet kit for it and open up the air box. Get yourself an aftermarket filter and at least a slip on. You can go full but the gains (dyno proven) have not shown, in my opinion, the justification for the cost of the full setup. For instance, I have a JD jet kit, K&N, EHS air box lid, and an HMF slip-on and it produced 45hp and 35tq on a dynojet dyno. Others with full systems have produced the same numbers on a dynojet dyno. Granted, they were not the same dyno at the same time but your gains will be close! I think I have about $400 tied up in everything as compared to $400-$500+ for just a full system.....

i would look into a ct racing exhaust for your exhaust needs, if you look on their site they are making some impressive numbers and if i remember correctly they are pretty fair pricing? But look around and see what everyone else has and likes, and go from there with whats proven. The JD Jetkit is definatly worth it and i would not hesitate to buy that
