i just put new cometic gaskets in the topend

for the gasket that goes between the cylinder and head, 3 valve cover bolts would not go through, so i used a sharp punch and hammer to make holes to get the bolts through.
why would this ruin the entire seal

would they make a gasket that not all the bolts go through?

can it leak from the exhaust?
it looks like oil is coming out of the exhaust

also, when i bought the 400, it was jetted for a trinity stage Iv pipe. do i have to change it for the stock pipe?

with an 11:1 piston can i run the stock pipe? it didnt run good

if you had to punch new holes then i have a feeling you put your gasket upside down, i didnt think that was possible. butthats my thinking, i havent seen the 400's head gasket in a while so im not positive, so do you have the trinity exhaust and its jetted or the previous owner had intention of getting the exhaust and never did but jetted it before hand. what size piston are you running? stock exhaust is a huge hold back, mainly the muffler. i ran a stage 2 440 kit with stock exhaust for abnout 2-3 months and it never over heated or ran bad. but hte difference between the motoworks and stock was unbeliveable.
