i know i can get it to work but i got an 2002 400ex so yeah

the first link kit will probly work fine for ur 02, but the 450r kit is completly different.....

wow, just looked a little closer at the second one, it says its for a 400ex, FX just use's the same quad(there cheap) for the kit, imo i like the second one WAY better!!!!!!

does it cost alot to get the upgrade to the new plastic for the 400s and do u have to change alot of things or what,were did u get urs at, do u have any pics of ur bike with the new plastic. i wanted to convert my plastics to the new plastics but i didnt know how much it was or how much things u would have to change.........sorry it this dosent make any sense my handis like spazing out and im trying to think lol.

well i bought a kit off ebay for around 550, and tht got me every thing i needed, as for installing it, it was a breeze, just gota drill 2 holes on the front of ur frame...no biggie, and you gota mess around with the wiring a bit, i'll find the link for my rebuild thread for some pics..
