Well as some of you know, i deal alot in the carbon fiber end of things. I own a 2008 Ducati that I've been riding for the past couple months. Since my KTM quads are going to stay all together for the winter, I've decided that the Ducati will be the winter project this year.

I've got some other plans for the bike, but my major changes include full carbon fiber bodywork. I just wanted to share some pics with you guys. I'll be taking the bike apart this weekend and getting ready to get it to the point of where I'm ready to install all of the new parts on it.

I don't expect to have the bike done for about 2 months, so bare with me on finished pics, but here are a few sneak peaks.

Here is how the bike sits now:

Carbon Fiber parts to come:

Upper Side Fairings:

Just getting finished with the fuel cell. Its not 100% done yet as we need to do the final fitment check, but here are some pics for you all to drool over. This tank is made from 100% carbon fiber and Kevlar. Kevlar is used to make this tank able to withstand any impacts capable of cracking or breaking the tank in the event of a wreck.

Top of tank:

Side/bottom of tank:

Well these are the main peices other than the tail section that I don't have good pics of yet. Every body piece on the bike will be carbon fiber, along with some pieces to accent the bike.

That's crazy. You should weigh the parts you take off and what you replace it with to see what kind of weight savings you're looking at. I think it's going to be a sick looking bike afterwards, good luck.
