They work pretty good on the rear (makes axle's weaker) but will make your quad handle bad on the front!

ide try and stay away from wheel spacers as much as possible!

I agree!!! Take this from a couple guys that would actually make money if we sold them to you!!!;)

We have them on the front of one of our rides (the 250ex) and have had zero problems with them. They really improved the handling of the 250ex.

No experience with them on a 300ex.

Just my 2 cents.

if you have the money, just get an axle and a-arms, they are much better, spacers just make things weaker (axle, spindles)

but if you do get spacers, get the ez fit so you dont have to take out your studs;)

And creates bump steer!:(

Yeah believe me bumpsteer is one of the most unbearable things when u ride a quad. U can take the best front end out there, with the best shocks. Throw on a set of spacers, or offset wheels to take them out farther, and it will be a bad experiance riding it. Bumpsteer makes u go slower........that should help, lol

They are a bad idea,I seen someone bend a axle with spacers on them by clipping a 3 inch thick tree..:devil

i have my front wheels flipped. does that create bumpsteer?

Yep!!!

then what exactly is bumpsteer. cause i never noticed a difference after i flipped them.

Its when the front end hits bumps and wants to pull to one side or the other. It can be very dangerious at high speed.

oh but wouldn't you get that even if you had extended a-arms?

Wheel spacers are a POS. They will either bend your axle or break the studs off in the long run. Spend your money on a good axle, but before you buy a DuraBlow, go to the RedBud National.

Wheel spacers and reversing your wheels don't really cause MORE bump-steer, but they put more stress on your spindle and can cause more flex in the front end.

Any time you increase the length of A-arms and tie-rod ends, you create LESS bump steer because you are creating a larger radius for the outer joints to follow, and thus, less variance from the vertical plane that they would ideally follow. It also helps to reduce scrub.

You have a very valid point, Jeff. Actual "bump steer" though has more to do with suspension angle differences than flex. The offset wheels will increase the affects of bump steer, though, so your thinking is not wrong.

ok then. i don't really plan to get an axle anytime soon becuase of the expense. i flipped my rims cause it was a free thing to do. i might get a-arms later but i don't know if i will. thanks for all the help.

Bongwater,
Glad to see someone on here actually understands bumpsteer. I hope people do some research for themselves and don't always rely on these posts.
