ok well i am going to buy front shocks i geuss after x-mas for the 300 since im getting the new front end bc i was told by works that revalving and lengthening my front shocks would be about the same as buying new front shocks... is this rite? i wonder what would be cheaper?
but my question is... will shocks set up for a stock 400ex work on my front end set up since it is +1 would i still have to get the mount cuz i dont want to have to make a mount or buy one... is is the location of the shock mount in the same place on +1 a-arms? meanin i would have to get the mount anyway...
works would be around 300 or 400 dollars to get my fronts lengthened and revalved and new springs... buzzy had his done for +2 400ex front end and says he payed 200.. works says that he is lying:confused: im a little lost now... lol i was thinking 200 dollars and im done... but then i was thinking send them to tcs to get them converted and lengthened and stuff.... how much more would that cost? i am at a loss of what to do at this point and i will have money after x-mas to do it

you have the same idea i did. i dont see why they wouldnt work. the stockers should atleast work long enough for you to save some money for a nice aftermarket set. i didnt read you whole post but i am assuming you moved the shock mounts up on the frame right? just for thoght. quadrate elkas will work for this set up. then you would have one bad***** 300.

i think if you use just 400ex shocks they will prolly be at too steep of an angle and be way to soft, or if the mount on the arm is in the same place as stock the leverage of the longer arms will be too much for the shocks, again making them too soft.

Call up works and talk to Sandy, he can custom build shocks for that set up. Im probably giong to have some built for mine. Make sure to tell them there +1 400 a-arms.

320 dollars for dual rates w/ out rezzies. Its 160 to add rezzies. and I think its like 360 or 370 for triple rates. Im not sure which ones im going to go w/ either dual or triple, and I might get rezzies, depending upon how much I have to spend.
