well I have rebuilt a 'Mr Muscle"..wasn't real hard.
& the kit was like 14/15 bucks ..
Does P E P have a kit ?

I don't know. I was offered one but was told it needed to be rebuilt so I'm trying to figure out if I should buy the used one and rebuild it or if it is just cheaper to buy a new one.

what about if the shaft doesnt click into positions anymore?? mine just spins:(

Taco ..if its a mr mucle/denton type ( i think these are similar)..then most likely the answer to rebuild w/rebuild kit ..sounds like the rachet mechanism has failed..the kit has the peices for fixing this ....

yup it sure is. So can anyone do this with a good mechanical knowledge? What type of oil goes in it and how do you put it in?

you can do it ..gets some rags handy..can be messy
the kits suggests a fork oil ..
a bud who owns a shop locally suggested using a mid weight oil ..
it has worked good so far ..
