cutting out at mid throttle

have 400ex ,been running great all of a sudden starts running like its cutting out at mid throttle removed carb cleaned ,checked and adjusted valves nothing found,went over wiring no loose connections,, was wondering if its possible for ign box to cause this or something in ign system any help would be great thanks

did you check the jet? something similar was happening to me earlier this summer after rebuild, turned out the main jet needle fell out and was just sitting in the carb. It took me about a week figure it out, i was checking valves and everything also...

Is the electrical all cutting out? It could be a CDI or defective coils. Coils don't go bad very often, but cutting out could be caused by this, cdi's as well. Not likely though. Is it a long or short pause? Any funny noises, or is it due to carb issuse?
