Ran track 2 years of middle school, 4 year letterman in high school and ran at Muskingum College. Ran the 100, 200, 4x100 and 4x400. Set our high school school record in the 100 and and in second for the 200. Also part of the school record 4x100 team back in 1999 and 2000. Had injury problems with my hamstring all thru college so decided to hang it up. I am however going to run at a few open indoor meets at Kent State this winter to see where I stand. The 60m dash was my best event in college. Won two overall indoor meets and qualified at the top for OAC's freshman year.

100-10.7
200-22.3

back in the day(early 80's)... i used to consistantly run a 50 sec quarter and a 1:50 half.
iirc, my best was a 49.xx sec quarter and a 1:48.xx half

as for distance, i could just jog til i got hungry(same with my brother who ran CC for the next school over).. not fast, but we could just keep going.
i was fairly well known around the 5mi track at Ft Gordon during my AIT. cadre would set me up with poor peformers so i could teach proper breathing and running methods.

id bet i could still knock out a 70+sec quarter.. (though id definitely feel the additional 40lbs of table muscle im packing since then)

ahh the glory days.. :p
