i skiblade. it is 10x better than skiing. i have skied for 5 years and now skiblade -- not the lil 60cm ones but the 100cm. they are awesome. i hate the terrain parks -- i love treeskiing and hiking to natural cliffs and stuff

He's talking about the snow-skateboards. Not snowblades. I've never tried that with the snow-skateboard...or whatever you wanna call it. I've been snowboarding for 7 years, snowblading for 3 and skiing for 4...I love it all

those things are sweet. ive only done it once but my friend is getting one for christmas. i mostly snowboard. i have hit the snowboard park some this year but i have only pulled 180 indys just becuase fobia (sweet snow/skate shop) hasnt come in and desinged the park yet so its just what the ski area did for now even though the jumps are sweet. they have a 50ft kicker table and then two 20s and a 35. i really like the pipe and i can pull 360 indys and mutes even thought the pipe is really crappy.

ya snowskates and "skiblades" are different
i made my own rail last year, it was a 10 footer. i made the supports and base outta wood, and screwed a round metal pipe into the wood. it worked pretty good. i was try a boardslide and landed on my nuts. after the pain went away i flipped out and broke the rail into 100 different parts :D

You cant u really ollie if the grip goes away really, I'm a skater so it prolly wouldnt be all that hard, but u gotta ollie hard or much to pop it in the air? I've seen em better never tried em they look hard but fun.

its not griptape... its like soft foam. it grips pretty good. i usassally ride in my dc's so i get a beter feel for the board, its kinda hard to ride with huge snowboarding boots
