So i'm looking for a bike to get running by spring. I got an email from this guy who has an 87 that he started to rebuild 10 years ago, but didn't finish the topend. This is what he says comes with it. Fresh bottom end, 300cc cylinder with coolhead, cr250r ftz cylinder, and stock cylinder. Soem extra wheels, and carbs, spare msd ignition. $1100
What do you think? I'm thinking of offering him like 700 or so and see where we go from there.

Looks pretty rough, but for $700-$1000 I think it is a good deal.

looks are deceiving..... i'd go for it. even without the extra stuff i'd say its worth what he's asking.

Look at the second photo close it looks to me like the frame is bent. back on the left side.

could be that its an illusion....... sorta looks like the quad is leaning a bit to that side. regardless, that should be something that you look out for prior to purchase.

at that price. if it were local to me en it were bent i'd buy it still. :blah:
