This is my official build up thread for my houser crf450 that i am in the process of making.
I always like to read these type of threads so i figured i would post one of my own.


Chassis | Suspension | Controls:

Frame: Houser crf450 purpose built.
A Arms: Gibson plus 3 LT
Swingarm: Houser crf450 no link.
Steering Stem:Houser
Stbilizer: Looking for a precision type.
Axle: durablue
Carrier: baldwin
Locknut: lsr
Hubs F|R: baldwin/ durablue
Bars: Fast Flexx
Throttle/Clutch Lever: Looking for a set of asv's
Grips:
Nerfs: Rath custom heel guards with ac laeger pro pegs.
Bumper: Still looking
Grab Bar: ac
Front Shocks: PEP big bottle lt.
Rear Shock: custom axis no link
Brake Lines: steel braided
Rotors F|R: slotted
Rims F|R: Looking for rear 8in already have fronts.
Tires F|R: have not yet purchased.



Body:

Plastic: Silver full bore plastics
Graphics|Seat Cover: still looking
Number Backgrounds: still looking
Handguards: still looking
Bar Pad: flexx
Fuel Tank: clarke



Engine|Drive System: 2003 Baldwin CRF450

Cylinder|Head: Baldwin
Bore & Stroke:
Displacement: 450
Cam: baldwin
Carburetor: FCR
Air Filter|Box: Houser/250r box
Pipe|Silencer: Big core sparks made for houser chassis
Clutch|Plates:
Gearing F|R: dont know yet
CDI|Killswitch: not yet purchased
Cooling: Looking for a oversized 250r with shrouds.

Here are some pics of some of the things that i have.
some of this stuff has not arrived yet so i will post pics when it does and also as i progress in the build.

I would like to thank everyone that has helped me with parts and ect.

Mostly everythings is being powdered in the next week or so.
Here is my list of the colors/item being coated.
This is what i Know so far:

sub frame: Light silver
A Arms: Lower yellow upper light silver
Swingarm: Yellow
Steering Stem: Yellow

More parts will be added.

everythings lookin good man, wish i had time to build a hybrid. if your lookin to get rid of one i'd trade my yfz :cool:

get more pics when you have some powdercoat etc. done!

i thought about building a hybrid. how much do you have invested so far

You have to bring alot of cash to the table. If you want your hybrid done right, 10 grand plus. That is racing frame, motor..all the goodies brand new. Mine was 11, 500 almost exactly, everything new except frame and motor.
