lt80 vs eton DRR

can the lt80 be built to keep up with the etons or DRRs on the tracks?

Yes and no if your thinking of getting into racing Your best bet is to get a drr or apex other wise you will put a lot of money in to the Lt to get it just like what the Drr and apex are in stock form . Just my opinion. But you write the checks . I know ( LT 80 Forum Name) has built some fast LT 80s thou.

I suppose they can be made to keep up with the others.. I prefer to build em to beat the others. :D :D.
And for less cost than expected.
I can get 14+ hp and 12k+ rpm's. (stock is 5hp and 6500 rpm's)
I don't feel that the DRR's and Apex's do that in stock form. Don't get me wrong, the drr and apex are good machines.
The only thing better on the others is the suspension.

Yea I know don't they all take money?Got started this year already got rims and tires, nerfs, 428 chain kit,D G pipe,20mm carb, fox shocks now need more power and speed.will be racing in Hare scrambles with a little bit wide open track or feilds mixed in.LT80 still got your number last race next month.

Shocks were on bike when I brought it. I think I'am going to send them off to get rebuilt. Think they would be better if rebuilt??

Lt 80 can be smoking fast on the flat track. I have seen some LT 80 that would smoke most or all drr and apex. You can get them to run 58-60 mph. unlike the drrs and apex or the jog motors. i believe the motors run backwords and man can they be fast . they need to be stretched and widend. But LT 80 could make you a LT 80 Super Monster Mini. Good Luck with your LT

If your gonna run harescrambles, that LT80 will be fine. As mentioned above, regardless what you buy or have, your gonna upgrade something on it anyways. Sounds like you already have good headstart. Good luck!!
