Just got through cutting the rear fenders on my 400. I only took off about 2 inches off bottom. It looks much better than stock. just measure up and make a straight line w/ tape. I used a coping saw and utility knife to fix the rough edge.

I cut mine on my R to keep my boots from hanging on them when racing. Thats just me.

I cut mine because I was tired of curved bottom design. It really isnt stopping any debris from getting on you with it as so i havent lost anything. Why do people spend $5000 fixing up a $5000 quad? Why ask Why????

crhye250r,
I have shaved fronts on my R and unshaved rears. I notice my boots always rub on them makeing them look really bad, they get in the way, and would look much better! Do you like the shaved rear fenders compared to non? what is better or worse about them?

I haven't found a downfall yet. I love them. My boots dont get caught anymore. Plus they look alot better. Ill try and get a pic for you. MY quad is comepletely disassembled. (including the motor, soon to be an ESR 265) I will getcha a pic though.
