View Full Version : drive chain.. how long?

after much searching i'm fairly sure stock chain length is 94, but i read guys running anywhere from 94-100 on stock swingers; i am ready to pull the trigger on a new chain but want to be SURE of what length i need. i'll be switching between 15/38 and 14/38 gearing.

yeah 94 links is stock. It will work fine for those two gearing setups.

so will a new, stock 450R chain work?

Yeah its either a 94 or 96 link. If its a 96 you may have to take out a couple of links.

cool, just snagged a new OEM take-off on ebay.. we'll see what it brings.
