View Full Version : My DS450x vs DS650X????

WEll!! my friend a I were prerunning for a small race over the week end in baja and having a DS 650 baja and DS450 Baja,we were out on the trails and man this little ds is pretty quick!!!
We were on a fast open stright desrt road and we both just pinned the throttle and the 650 never ran away!!!
Dont get me wrong here!!my buddy is a pretty good rider and owns a few 650's!!he was suprised on the speed of the 450!
My 650 and 450 both run 22 inch tall tires on the rear.This was quite a suprise for me.DS 450x with pipe,pink wire cut and air lid removed.DS 650x Ron Woods stage 1!!!

Im not suprised. Get a decent engine kit on the bike and this thing will be unbeatable.

We werent really racing!!it was mostly a very fast straight dirt road!!
we were prerunning for baja!

But!! the DS 650 with 17/38 gearing will definetly kill my 450 on a hi speed top end race.
