Hi all,
I have a K6 LTR450 which I bought new in Nov 2006. I am just after overhauling the engine and gearbox with all new gears (old ones chewed and broken) and a new piston and barrell.
My problem is that when I put it in 1st gear and give it some throttle the gearbox jumps in and out of neutral constantly. All other gears are 100%, if I start in 2nd and don't use 1st at all it performs perfectly.
If I place my boot over the gearshift lever to (hold) it in 1st, the lever starts jumping up and down (in and out of neutral) as soon as I accelerate..
I have been trying to find a cure to this problem for over a month and all help would be appreciated.
