I just bought an 06 new leftover and had it shipped. Great deal, but missing the cap for the tube that holds the tool kit. Working with the dealer to get one, but not sure they want to assist since they lost money on the deal. Anyway where do I get one and what do they run? These seem to be a common part to lose. Also the tool kit was missing. Is the stock tool kit worth buying just to have or really not needed?

The cap is $9-$10. All you really need out of the kit is the spark plug wrench which is around $9. Or you can buy a cheap socket and grind it down to get it to fit in the hole.

I have actually found one laying in the woods at this parts graveyard. They had the tool kit tube too it just had a dent in it.

Doesn't anyone know that you can get any and all parts right down to each nut, bolt, pin....all sold peice by peice. This is SOOOO much easier than hunting ebay for one. When it comes to small replacement parts like this.....why not go to the dealership and order one, go back in 3 days and pick it up

here....I will make it easy on you. http://www.mid-ohio.com/fiche_select.asp
